What is a TPM?
The TPM is a system of management and technical elements. Its aim is continuous improvement of productivity, with participation of employees involved in production.
Logically an engine control loop, which continuously measures 16 main and more lateral wastes affecting the production, and then induce them to reduce activities. Any positive initiatives are built into the system and replaced by continuous development.
In many cases waste elimination results in maintenance-type activities, so - in short - much mistaken maintenance of the TPM system is considered.
In addition to improving productivity, there's also the important aspect of increased human and environmental security.
